For me the so called hardcore Eurovision fans in the arena and on social media have ruined Eurovision this year and made it political. I reckon if it was Palestine participating this year and not Israel, we would not be having this much outrage. As for the Israeli delegation harassing journalists and artist of other countries for saying free Palestine and stuff like, both sides should've been banned from this year for making it political instead of uniting people with music no matter their nationality and political beliefs.

Let's not pretend people 'made it political' this year. The best host's joke so far was when they said "and of course, entirely non-political". I assume that was actually meant as a joke :p

Honestly very difficult situation.
if Israel wins then everybody will talk about manipulation , true or not doesn’t matter. Clearly the next esc would be very problematic as no host (maybe Germany would take over for Israel) and many countries will withdraw.

on the other hand not even sure I want Croatia to win. The song is ok, but nothing special, we probably can’t afford it and I could imagine the production would be embarrassing. Therefore let’s agree on Switzerland, Italy or France.

i listened to a few seconds of the swiss song and that was enough for me.absolutely no way should that even make top 10.

I hope so :d

Been my big favourite from the first time I heard it :cheer:

Especially if, outside of Israel getting the free war votes, the biggest challengers are Switzerland and France, which I found soooo....meh.

Yes France and Switzerland don’t do it for me, nothing special that we haven’t seen a million times before and neither are catchy enough to make me want to sing them as I go about my day :d

Either Croatia or Ireland winning out of the favorites is fine by me.Croatian one is a banger even if i die of cringe by his stage name, and ireland is,well i'm surprised but honestly i enjoyed that.

You don't need to worry about Eurovision.... Bulgaria can't afford participation fee anyway lol.

We can, just want to give money for something more meaningful and not partake in the current dark ages of Eurovision.

Ireland was missing from the flag parade today, something was going on apparently. It's hard to read this and not think about the earlier reports about delegation members of Ireland and Spain being harrassed by Israeli delegation members...

    • Many things, probably they thought it is already over and the win will come itself... but also Nitra improved their play a lot, they outplayed us in physicality in the last 2 games, they won almost every duel. Was hard to watch. Anyway I am still persuated we will finish the job at home with success on Tuesday
    • If you look at their results this season and on the Super Series, it’s not really that surprising.    I’d consider them to be medal contenders.
    • At one point it seemed we were making good progress in this sport, but in the past 1-2 years things seem to have hit a standstill..   Ivaylo Ivanov is still our only elite judoka, but he is passing 30. There were/are some promising youngsters, but they haven't been able to make a jump to the senior level. At this Euro we barely had any first round wins (not including Ivanov). In fencing and taekwondo the results are much more visible for us.
    • yes, but that's only an (important) episode... I mean, what's up with your team more in general...it looks like they got the classic "fear to win", they're not as brilliant as they were in the early games of the series
    • after a few leagues ended well before the true climax, now we have both leagues from the good, old Czechoslovakia going to game #7    shame that both games will be at the exact same time
    • complete blackout resulting in a 5 minutes major 3 minutes to the end
    • Extraliga Playoffs   The Finals (Best-of-7 Series)   Game #6: HC Kometa Brno (4) - HC Dynamo Pardubice (3)  1-5 (0-1, 0-1, 1-3)   the series is tied 3-3 and also in Czechia we're gonna watch the magic of a game 7...Extraliga does never disappoint its fans    Game #7 is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29th in Pardubice @ 6 p.m. CET
    • Extraliga Playoffs   The Finals (Best-of-7 Series)   Game #6: HK Nitra (3) b. HC Košice (2)  3-1 (1-0, 0-0, 2-1)   Series is tied 3-3, so we go to a high drama decider in a couple of days   Game #7 is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29th in Košice @ 6 p.m. CET     @hckošice  what's happening there?
    • what a missed chance for     but Giorgia Stangherlin first and Asya Tavano then (in the playoff match, having clearly won the "regular" match against the same opponent) wasted the biggest occasion we ever had in this kind of competition   moreover, in the final match of the "regular 6", Veronica Toniolo got a serious knee injury against Eteri Liparteliani (the match was into the golden score period): she was carted off on a stretcher, screaming in pain
    • Pogacar just makes it look so easy.  As absurd as it may seem, i actually believe he is thinking about winning all 5 Monuments in one year.   He is likely to have 3 wins and 2 podiums this year, so the goals are set for 26,27
