Yes, there are no yellow vests (apart from three or four), these are not protests. These are riots, done by criminals, and police should start acting a lot harder against them. Most of these people should be in jail instead of on the street.

Well, yeah, I was in Pyeongchang :-D .... Where we might have met?

Biathlon I think!

These yellow vests remind me of the Ferguson riots. Huge overreaction in both cases. I mean if they didn’t destroy things they could be more easily ignored, true, but there are so many smarter ways to get the public to notice and not resent you. (Hong Kong does a slightly better job of this)

Definitely might want to add the Watts Riots to the mix here. Those were before my time, but people still get scared when talking about them.

    • actually, in a short span like in this tournament, it's a lot better to play in 2 consecutive days and keep the daily routine than having a day off the only issue might be the rules about pitching, but this time they don 't have any influence since no Venezuelan pitcher threw more than 39 pitches last night and therefore they are all available tonight  remember that baseball sometimes also plays doubleheaders (with only 30/60 min break between 2 matches) playing in consecutive days is the rule, not an exception for those players
