Apart from: I think the Slovak federation f*cked up Haring's career highlight which he had deserved and which is really sad to see and I'm curious to see what Sagan will be able to do.

Slovakia wouldn't even be able compete in cross-country if Haring and other MTB racers weren't collecting Olympic points during the past two years... Just to reiterate how unfair that decision is to them.

Yep. Worked your ass off for two years and what do you get? A place in a sport where your best result is accidentally winning the mountain jersey in the Tour of Freaking Cameroon (Haring) and getting a reserve place in your own sport (the other guy).

I don't know who, but someone was disqualified from the European Championships and now Anne Terpstra will go for us to Rio because she needed a top-10 finish there to qualify and ended 11th (10th now with the DSQ)

    • I can’t see it being kept. Unless some very important  people have asked for it.
    • First event at the World juniors (team events) had 6 nations win medals.
    • I hope they keep it. Even though the sport doesn't exist in Slovakia at all, it's still very exciting to watch.
    • will miss this stage because of the Middle East war, since the flights with Qatar Airways have been cancelled and can't be replaced in time (especially for the bicycles)
    • Just in time for....errmmm...next year's Summer Biathlon season!
    • Well, look at that! What a race, absolutely amazing! Couldn't this have happened at the Olympics?
