So this edition has only become a bigger mess since the last update I posted.

 will only send artists, no athletes: https://www.francsjeux.com/breves/wallonia-brussels-wont-be-sending-athletes

 

 is likely boycotting for political reasons, though I don’t believe that’s officially been confirmed…

 

The table tennis venue will likely not be ready for the event, but there might be a backup venue available: https://www.francsjeux.com/breves/plan-b-for-table-tennis

 

It would seem, as an outside observer, that this gamble by the CIJF has not paid off.

I will be working at this event for Microplus. Leaving next Monday, I will be back (hopefully ) on August 6th.

I definitely think it’s incomplete. Honestly, it’s hard to know who’s attending now given all the withdrawals over safety and venue preparedness concerns.
