Generally I'm happy we're not all North Korean/Chinese-like, but yeah, that could have been useful this time

Yup, I definitely meant in the situation like this :d

Almost 300 new cases in the netherlands.... hopefully in a week or two (when the national lockdown that started today starts to have effect) it will stagnate but i fear next days will continue to increase a lot.

In Portugal numbers are increasing but not in such alarming way (for now). There has not been anyone dead so far.

Intention is to close the borders soon, together with spain. On wednesday our President will decide if national emergency state is declared or not.

The minister of health makes it sound like we have not really changed our way of testing. About 600 tests done each day, but new tests are prepared that will add capacity.

Slightly surprising news!

But we have 62 hospitalized at the moment, 10 are more or less critical.

Now we're doomed.

But still no Antarctica. Turns out The Thing was wrong when predicting the source of a deadly new threat.
