I have to choose between 1992 and 2004, but I think 2 004 is too Greek-exclusive. So yeah Amigos para siempre

Personally, my three favorites: Welcome Home (which I voted for), Friends for Life, and The Celebration of the Century.

 

Besides that, 88’s has a nice tone, and 2000 and 2012 are meh. The rest aren’t great.

 

 

If I could make some suggestions for Tokyo: Rings of Fire, Blooming Friendship, Blossoming Peace

2004 is rare example of where exclusive is good. It’s hard to have a more powerful motto than “welcome home”. I mean, it’s the land that started both the ancient and modern games. On the flip side, “Amigos para siempre” works so well because it’s simple and fun to say. 
 

“United by Emotion” might be the worst one on there (this is with me refusing to acknowledge 1936 entry, and the aftermath of 1972). It’s not fun, it doesn’t sound good in English, it has nothing to do with Japan. It’s weak.

Lol. I mean My favorite Motto is Amics per sempre(Barcelona 1992)....  IMO Berlin 1936 Motto is really good and fit perfect for those games, it's so militar.
