Sport Events Cancelled due to Coronavirus Outbreak

@Sindo it's possible have a list of ALL events dropped by the totallympics calendars? Or they are lost forever? :p

They are gone, I can still see them from the moderator panel of deleted topics/events.

You can have a look of deleted events searching on the single sports calendar in the results portal. Example: Football 2020 Calendar ;) The Postponed/cancelled events are at the end of the list.

Aside from Belarus, apparently the sports events in Burundi, Nicaragua and Tajikistan are still being held. :p

Yes, I watched the highlights of the Tajik Super Cup a few days ago. That was a first.

World track and field championships moved to July 2022 in Oregon

New dates - July 15th through July 24th, 2022.  So it will finish a few days before the start of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.  Not sure when the athletics competition beings there.

I'm pretty sure the Commonwealth Games will be moved back, England hosts the UEFA Women's Euro which is set to overlap with the CG already,

Yeah...I have a sneaking suspicion they’re not worried about that...

    • Weightlifting formula is more or less similar to 2020 which was considered terrible by everybody!    this is a tough sport, you can't be in your best shape for too many events. there will be risks of serious injuries this way. with these rules you need 5 good results to qualify. if you bomb out in an event to score a zero you are out of the Olympics unless you replace it with another event. which means most of these poor guys have to participate in 7-8 events (and not just 5) to make up for possible bomb outs.    most importantly if you get injured anytime during this period (almost 2 years) you are out of the Olympics! that's how Sohrab Moradi missed the Tokyo Olympics despite breaking the WR during the qualification period. you can miss the Olympics in 2028 if you get injured late 2026 !  Karlos Nasar couldn't win the Olympic title if we had these rules in 2024   I understand 2024 qualification formula wasn't great either, it had its own flaws but this one is much worse for threatening athletes' health.
