yeah I was expecting a very one sided match but it wasn't really easy for Canada

 

Canada just scored. and from what I saw this Costa Rica is not going to score and tie the match. they fought well though against a much better team.

United States  clinches a spot in Tokyo with a 4-0 win over Mexico.  They will face Canada in what is essentially a friendly on Sunday.  In 8 games, USA and Canada have combined to score 45 goals and have conceded 0.

Yeah while it was clear that Costa Rica were going for a penalty kicks, Canada didn't exactly threaten Costa Rica or even play well.
