And Rhythmic Gymnastics has no men's event, while Synchronized swimming has barely any men. These are the balance makers to get the equal gender quota they so much desire.

Yea the IOC's hypocrisy on this is ridiculous.

And those two could very much be in trouble sooner or later, too.

Rhythmic is in a weird situation because there are two additional men’s events in artistic (which is something else that I’m sure will one day become untenable)

Does anyone actually care about that discrepancy. You’d think she would realise that is not particularly controversial and messing with it just looks woke.

Wonder if 2032 will be a hybrid games wirh some sports bowling out there because the venues are already there or have started construction by the time they decide. While from 2036 onwards it be fully what the IOC wants to be there going forward,

Breaking was in the Paris 2024 qualifying series so.

I think all it really means is that the IAFF is trying to play nice with the IOC.

Artistic swimming and Rhythmic gymnastics could survive because the venues are already going to be used for something else. Same with Greco Roman.

Mountain Biking might be one in danger. Another sole venue discipline.

Thought they would bring Russia back too. I guess they want to test the waters with Belarus.

I'm glad they are getting rid of host sports. It will force them to make a decision on baseball/softball and cricket. Those stadiums are not cheap, but they do bring in a lot of revenue.

The doping is a big issue. They need to keep WADA on side.
