Very likely we'll fail to qualify in boxing for the first time since 1908, which would mark a new low for our soon-to-be dismantled olympic sport structure.

9 in 13 categories, that's awesome. We are going to Worlds Tournament with only 4 athletes, and I think 2 or 3 of them have good chances

Not a great start of the day for Brazil. Both Michael Trindade (-51kg) and Abner Teixeira (-92kg) w/o due to injuries. Gold for :DOM and :USA.

 

The other two male fighters will face Cuban athletes, so no chance for gold...

Again another dumb decision by organizers. Who puts the SFs b2b days with the finals?
