Our women’s team took #1 New Zealand to the limit, but ultimately fell short with a 10-5 quarterfinals defeat :(

Improving their chances of the 2024 Olympics qualification immensely after this event :d I’m optimistic that they’ll secure a quota through the North America Qualification Tournament*

What’s really improving their chances of qualification is the US doing well :P

Canada’s women’s team closes the HSBC Rugby 7s Series in Vancouver, BC with a 22-17 loss to Fiji in the 5th place play-off. Still a great tournament for them, hopefully that’ll give them something to try and build on.
