I llke to compare the American women's gymnastics team to German dressage team. Biles is a leader like Isabell Werth. Carey can challenge Biles much like Sonke Rothenberger can challenge Werth. Lee is solid like Dorothee Schneider. Eaker can be spectacular, but inconsistent like Jessica von Bredow-Werndl. McCallum, apparently, misses out on finals much like Helen Langehanenberg.

 

Anyway, I always really liked both those teams, despite their domination.

Interestingly, Nekrasova was first under the line in 2016, and this time she very nearly suffered the same fate.
