Artistic Gymnastics FIG World Championships 2019

Recommended Posts

I llke to compare the American women's gymnastics team to German dressage team. Biles is a leader like Isabell Werth. Carey can challenge Biles much like Sonke Rothenberger can challenge Werth. Lee is solid like Dorothee Schneider. Eaker can be spectacular, but inconsistent like Jessica von Bredow-Werndl. McCallum, apparently, misses out on finals much like Helen Langehanenberg.

Anyway, I always really liked both those teams, despite their domination.

I will try to list the Olympic qualifiers, but of course I am extremely sad and I apologize in advance if I commit any mistakes.

Nobody thought that our girls would make it, but... it is real, we have QUALIFIED TO TOKYO 2020!

I'm shocked and very very happy for all of them, but especially Ana Pérez, whom I met personally, and Roxana, whose story is simple awesome.

And to think that Brazil came close to qualifying last year...

Congrats to Spain, but they will just participate at their best.

Ireland missed out by 0.32 :(

As sad as that is, it’s cool to see :SGP get a spot.
