Men's four was always going to be close between the boats in the b and c finals and in the men's quad well, I might have been a bit high on Ireland's brand new men's quad given how tricky a boat it is to row fast. They improved a lot from their heat in the rep so at least that is encouraging for next year for what is a very young boat. Joshi 96 Posted September 5, 2023 #122 Share Posted September 5, 2023 I'm actually very surprised only 1 NZ crew is out of olympic contention. This is perhaps the weakest and least experienced rowing team we've sent to the world championships.

Judging by @Ogreman's forecasting, this was an extremely difficult quarterfinal with four possibly finalists. And none of them was Borch.

Federer91 2,277 Posted September 6, 2023 #128 Share Posted September 6, 2023 Both of our rowers made the 1/2, so mission accomplished. Now get those quotas. Adriano

European qualifier only open if they they don't have 2 qualified boats. They'll probably get that here. Final qualifier will be open
