I didn’t want to jinx anything, but I just arrived in Birmingham to cover The World Games 2022    It’s my first time attending a multi-sports games in-person, so hopefully it’s an enjoyable

Just tuned in for the powerlifting.   Surely this is not a serious sport? If you need 5 (!) officials standing around, protecting each athlete, then maybe just don't do it?

loses two medals due to anti-doping violations    Sveva Melillo  loses her gold medal in Muaythai (Women’s -54kg). Gold goes to Ashley Thiner , with Laura Burgos  upgraded to silver @mrv86.

A 64-53 loss so one medal of each colour now for :GBR, shame about the loss but well done anyway to Pitman

Watching some Roller Hockey.... It's really the poor, slow, boring cousin of ice hockey. What can we do to bring back the only hockey on skates worth anyone's time aka rink hockey ? :(
