Top 5: Athletics (With no doubt, my favourite summer sport), Badminton, Basketball, Fencing, Weightlifiting

Honourable mentions: Gymnastics - Artistic, Judo, Modern Pentathlon, Sailing, Sport climbing

Bottom 5: Artistic Swimming, Basketball - 3x3, Skateboarding, Baseball and Softball

Sports I enjoy watching, except at the Olympics: Football (Men's tournament, U-23 players, come on! Send your best players, then I will start watching it.) Tennis (Too many of the top players don't participate.)

1-Football (just not the men's olympic tournament).

2-Volleyball (I came to this forum from a volleyball forum, so not much to explain, i'm an ultra fanatic of this since I was a kid).

3-Handball (I used to play it).

4-Field Hockey (didn't care much about it but started following seriously 6/7 years ago and now I watch many matches).

5-Fencing (my favorite combat sport, I just love how it looks).

Close: Basketball, Judo, Archery, Rugby 7s (I'd much rather watch XVs though).

Bottom 5: Wrestling, table tennis, road cycling, diving, Sailing (wouldn't even care if it weren't because ARG is good at it).

My feeling about equestrian dressage: the Dutch are pretty good at it (not as good as before, but still) but I just can not bring myself to watch it :p

Artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, judo, swimming and volleyball.

Next in line would be table tennis, archery, diving, artistic swimming and athletics.

The 10 (11 actuallÿ) sports I never watch: wrestling, taekwondo, basketball, baseball/softball, karate, sport climbing, badminton, fencing, cycling and boxing.

I've chosen tenis, athletics, basketball (5x5 and 3x3) and sport climbing. I also very like handball, football (would make top 5 if not U23 in men's tournament), beach volleyball, badminton, all kind of cycling and rugby sevens.

The bottom five would be artistic swimming, water polo, boxing, equstrian and rythmic gymnastics.

I am unashamed, at getting nothing done.

Why Sport Climbing?

Well of all the added sports, Sport Climbing seems to have the largest interest and support. It seems like it might actually deserve a place in the Olympics unlike some of the other recently added sports.

Sport climbing was already added in Paris with 4 events instead than 2 ;)

    • Non-Olympic Athlete, Moment of the Year and Olympic Spirit Award are the ones lacking the most. Paralympic Athlete and Breakthrough also don't have a lot of votes.
    • Do you have or have you ever had an modern ice track?
    • Still no progress in the Italian team: 2x 4th place in men's singles and women's doubles+ a fall in the team relay. Men's doubles and women's singles without any progress for years. What's worse, our women's doubles also significantly lowered their level: without a single podium in the World Cup in this season. As of today, I'm betting on 0 medals in Cortina for us, excluding some miracles on the home track.
    • There is some progress at Barp and Carollo but almost everything is still based on Pellegrino. In the men's we lost a great talent - de Fabiani and Davide Graz - they are at an age where we have a generation gap in these age groups: 1994-2000. In the women's I`m happy with Monsorno's progress in sprints but the last podium WC in the women's category was in... 2011. We wasted 15 years in the women's category and now we are only waking up with 1 year to go until the games in Cortina, when we should have a ready team like Germany (I will skip Scandinavia because of its completely different potential).
    • Italy doesn't exist in women's technical competitions without from Brignone and Goggia - both over 30 age. Unfortunately Bassino has been out of good shipe since from last season in the giant slalom and she is unrecognizable in some competitions. In the case of Goggia I also don't really believe in regular podiums in the giant slalom - she can't have falls and win in the downhill and super-G. The giant slalom is just a bonus.   The Italian women's slalom has basically been non-existent for many years. One Peterlini qualifies for the 30 and doesn't finish half of the competitions. I can't understand how it was possible to lose Colturi in a situation where other Italians have fallen so badly. Unfortunately it's not the Italian federation that should be setting the conditions here but it's Colturi and her mother - a talent on par with Shiffrin at her age.
    • In relay yes, but we have 8 more from our legend Natalya Yakushenko back in 2008 and earlier
