What a results today. Well done to MacNeli :yes

 

And btw pity that Kolesnikov was injured this year (his participation was questionable, he was just preparing for the relay 4x100 freestyle) and because of that he is not in good form :( He is IMO best backstroke swimmer right now.

Omoto collapsed out of the medals on the freestyle, Pickrem was then in 2nd but got overtaken on the final leg as well. She tied up badly and I thought she will lose the medal but she somehow held Margalis off. Shiwen went like from 4th to 2nd on the last leg. Hosszu found daylight on the butterfly leg and it was over by then.

no, they don't have any chance unless something crazy happens in the pool (their best chance was the 200m IM specialist who ended up in 6th place earlier today)...

 

and yes, their diving perfomance (not only the medal, but also Woo Ha Ram's good results) went beyond any reasonable expectation...

 

Water sports are definitely not Korea's Crown jewels...
