Well, it's so okay that yesterday I watched "only" 7 episodes without any break

I watched yesterday first two episodes of season 4, I can say that Clarke did a big mistake in season three finale... IMO

How lovely. Just finished season 7 of Homeland yesterday just to find out that I will not be able to watch season 8 for a long time due to tv rights!

I know the feeling man (not sure about Homeland, I think I still have to start season 7), but luckily there are....other ways :p

Meanwhile, in the guilty pleasures category, I saw Avatar (The Last Airbender) is on Netflix completely so I've decided to rewatch the whole thing for the first time in many years - I liked it when I was a kid and it was on TV, I still like it now apparently :d

I am now watching with English audio instead of Dutch though. I prefer English in certain cases and for 90% of the show or so, but some things just don't have 'it' in English (Iroh sounds a bit less epic/wise/awesome, and I can't stand the way too American way they pronounce 'Aang'...same with most names, but especially that one (but also Iroh).

I just finished watching it last month. It was still just as enjoyable as ever. Unfortunately, Korra isn’t available on any streaming platforms I have currently.

In other news, Netflix’s live action series of ATLA has been seriously delayed due to Covid :(

Are the names of the movies or TV Shows changed in your countries ? For example Zootopia is here Zootropolis :d  I know the french did it always A-Team = l´agence tout risque lol etc... but here in general even if the name is translated into CZ/SK it´s usually the exact translation of the title in the original language

sure! and sometimes they come up with really absurd translations that have nothing to do with the original title...

the most famous of them all is "Murder, she wrote" becoming "la signora in giallo" (literally, "the Lady in yellow*")

*yellow (books/movies/tv series) is the name for thriller genre in Italy...

by the way, I just finished NCIS #16 and Power's series finale* (one of the most disappointing ever...the 6th and last season should have never been filmed...and tbh, the whole series should have ended around midway through the 3rd season to make it a great series...everything else has just been senseless and made it less and less interesting...I only went on until the end because I used to love "Ghost"'s character)...

*both on sky Italia platform

now I'm mainly watching Bosch (I really love it, I'm still at season #4) and Hawai'i Five-0 (I'm still at season #6, almost done) on Amazon Prime Video...

I've got a feeling I'll find a solution for that

I've never watched Korra yet, I don't remember it ever being on TV here (and if it was, it was probably when I was just never watching Nickelodeon anymore :d ).

    • Selecting the best health insurance plans involves several key considerations. First, evaluate your medical needs, including any pre-existing conditions or specific healthcare requirements. Look for plans that offer comprehensive coverage, including hospitalization, critical illness, and preventive care. Compare premiums, deductibles, and co-payments to balance affordability and coverage. It's also important to check the insurer’s claim settlement ratio and the network of cashless hospitals. Consider waiting periods for pre-existing conditions and any exclusions in the policy. Additionally, look for extra benefits like wellness programs or annual health check-ups to maximize value from your health insurance plan.
    • Rather negative     Both towards Vollering and towards the coach, who has been making a mess of this for years now (like Tokyo). Vollering literally said "it was not good for me that Markus and Vos were still in the front towards the end"     One of the most well-known journalists (albeit a bit of a drama queen, but in this case, he's right): "Absurdly bad race by Vollering. Unbelievable."   An entire analysis titled "Vollering only thought of herself and threw away and almost certain Dutch medal": https://www.wielerflits.nl/nieuws/demi-vollering-dacht-alleen-aan-zichzelf-en-verspeelt-vrijwel-zekere-wk-medaille-voor-nederland/   Vollering: "They were all riding just to make me lose"   https://www.gelderlander.nl/video/productie/vollering-mij-laten-verliezen-wk-zurich-772648?referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F   The 100th time Vollering shows she should simply not be in a team like this. It is always trouble, every single time. We need a team with like 6 Marianne Vos clones, she has the experience, she can read a race like absolutely nobody else in the world can and she plays her role, whether that's the team captain or working for someone else, without complaining and to the fullest extent.   Vollering is the exact opposite of Vos. Vollering rides for Team Vollering, which consists of Demi Vollering. No matter what.
    • What did Dutch press make out of it? It was one of the worst "teamworks" I have ever seen in cycling.
    • There is a ton of evidence, even if you don't believe the Bible is real,  that israel is our ancestral land.  And we simply took what's ours.  And in fact there was never anyone named Palestinians there.   Simply a name given to the region by the Roman's.  But the actual people is just a collective of individuals from different Arab countries where they were kicked out from.  And we are expected to cater to them.   There are plenty of other countries that should take them.   Iran, qatar, Iraq, Kuwait, Yemen, Algeria,  libiya, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco to name a few.
    • Completely lost track of when the other final, but I just finished watching the pre-recorded version of it.   Team “Magic Mike” McEwen defeated Team Gushue 8-3 to win his third title (and in a row) of the season.
    • Massive win indeed, a 80+ kilometer solo in the world championships, damn  (I mean, Sivakov jumped with him to try and help him of course, but couldn't do anything but sit in his wheel until he got dropped )

    • Sure, some things are simply historical events retold with a kind of fantasy layer over it, to make it more appealing to read and/or - most importantly - to put some lessons into it, which is fine (and which is the main way to read most religious texts, as 'lessons' and messages by the writers instead of actual historical facts). But let's not pretend that things like Moses splitting the sea or the entire exodus have a significant historical basis, based on actual evidence. Anyway, like I said: I'm well aware people who believe the religious book of their choosing is a historical book aren't going to ever believe otherwise, I grew up in a town full of similiarly minded people
