dullard 721 Posted September 11, 2023 #221 Share Posted September 11, 2023 American girls dominating quite a few of those top 10s. Most shocking one is the 200 back with 7/10 and then 200 free with 6/10. Werloc 3,176 Posted September 29, 2023 #226 Share Posted September 29, 2023 HUGE news for Lithuanian swimming. Vilnius is going to host the 2024 European Junior Swimming Championships. It's the very first time that Lithuania is hosting a prestigious swimming event and we definitely have amazing infrastructure to host it in Kaunas as well, so I was surprised to see Vilnius win the bid. Definitely going to be there if I don't have work on those days. Also, our junior swimming has been improving immensely, so this is going to be an amazing push for our athletes + Plytnykaitė will still be a junior, so medals are also a decent possibility The very first swimming competition in Lithuania was held back in 1924, so it will be the 100 year anniversary of Lithuanian swimming as well as the 50th European Junior championships as well. heywoodu and Josh 1 1 Link to comment https://totallympics.com/forums/topic/17531-swimming-2023-discussion-thread/page/23/#findComment-584698 Share on other sites
