Men's Handball Tournament at the Pan American Games 2019

Recommended Posts

Handball is a "woman's sport" in Brazil, so the fact that we have a somewhat decent men's team, even with this defeat, is reason enough to celebrate. Still, I suspected this team would not be able to beat Argentina in the final, but they lost even before that.

Brazil 9th place at the WCh saves them from being completely out of the olympic race: only the 2nd place of americas will participate in final olympic qualifiers.

Apparently Egypt would have to win the African championship in order to Brazil have another chance, which is not a sure thing.

Who do you think can beat Egypt?

Tunisia, of course (they're good and will host the championship).

:mumble: I did not know that. I thought that Egypt was the sovereign king in Africa

Tunisia is the defending champions and on a good day I wouldn't be surprised if Algeria caused an upset, plus Angola's men are starting to take this more seriously. Definitely not an easy Egypt win.
