For :IRL the flag bearers will be 100m hurdler Sarah Lavin and C1 slalom canoeist Liam Jegou

Our team is 121 athletes in 17 sports. 12 boxers will be of most interest here with Olympic places on the line. Ireland has a strong kick boxing history and will hope to win medals here in the new sport

I’m happy to see we’re sending teams in sports like padel, fencing and archery too

So that is team Slovensko, No special goals released, as usual every final, top 10, Top 8 will be nice.

No idea if and how many medals this team can bring home, at first look I see probably only 1 sure medal, because let be honest I don´t know what must happen and how the planets must allign wrongly to Monika Chochlíková not winning gold in Muaythai, but behind her, no idea..

let see (hopefully I will have the opportunity though :p)

Do toho Slovensko

Probably, but experience shows that some multi-sports events (hello EYOF) have been absolutely awful at this :p

If Eurosport has the rights, they'll probably have everything on their online channels, excellent because it's always live and on-demand.

The updated website is promising multiple simultaneous live broadcasts (as we know not everything is going to be covered live) plus full on-demand replays of everything that has been live, and easy to navigate by sport so....Click on the Programme button to see what is on every day.

Where did you see/read that? I can see the schedule and past replays, but no actual information about what will be offered (outside of the program page) on that website.

EDIT: Oh, I see. Info here: https://www.european-games.org/en/media-centre/european-games-tv/

It's not very intuitive but there is a detailed schedule for each sport on the official site. You have to click on the desired sport on the Sports tab and on the bottom of the page you can click to get the timetable in pdf. Haven't checked all of the disciplines but I'm pretty sure the schedule is available for at least most of them including the 3x3 basketball.

Do you happen to have a link? Because so far, I can only find the ones that have a schedule like this:

Kmn53cs.png

But surely by now the actual matches are scheduled? This is a little like there's a FIFA World Cup schedule looking like this:

Day 1

12.00 Group match

15.00 Also a group match

18.00 Another group match

21.00 Last group match of the day

:p

We're not there yet, but this might very carefully be somewhat promising...

I wonder which sports are not going to be shown.

Looking at it in more detail.....not much.  We don't get prelims of archery (never ever have, even at London 2012), shooting prelims or the fencing round robin of Modern Pentathlon.  I guess for sports like table tennis, badminton etc there is just one main show court, not every single concurrent match like at the Olympics.  Ditto for the beach sports.  Otherwise, pretty much the lot.

I don´t know why, but I still have that feeling this will not work and it will be just geoblocked in Europe. I do not really see why they would let streams available in countries they sold broadcasting rights. that just doesn´t happen.

but let see and pray, however I am quite sceptical and rather do not want to celebrate too early (even if it is clear, that it may be the only option for me to watch the Games :pope:)

    • Alpine skiing also we have a lot of problems: the men's team is very weak and has been winning a few podiums a season for several years and the our best skier- Dominik Paris is 35. We still have a strong women's team but 3 of the 4 leaders are over 30 (Goggia, Brignone, Curtoni) and Bassino is 28. Another 2 years and we will have the same problem as the men's. There is basically no cross-country skiing without Pellegrino for many years, biathlon is based on 2 individuals with one of them has a 35 years. Vittozzi's injury was enough and we haven`t a single podium this season after 3 stages of the World Cup. As for 1 year to the home games the situation isn`t optimistic.
