When Manolas did that in 2018 World Cup qualifiers, he was punished for an additional game and ended up missing the first leg against Croatia in the playoffs because of that.

Wouldn't be surprised to see FIFA/UEFA do everything possible to keep Portugal and Italy apart

Firing Mancini is the only way to have a chance, he either started smoking a lot of weed before the matches or had a stroke. Or he was injected a dumbing microchip with a vaccine.

Yeah, but Krychowiak commited five fouls and finally got booked in the 61st minute. So he didn't give the ref any choice even though it was intentional. It wasn't like Sergio Ramos timewasting in 95th minute once before which also got him some heat IIRC.

come on , he just won Euro with Italy.

 

beating Northern Ireland in Belfast was always a tough task. and yes Italy had a TERRIBLE match. but I can't stop cursing Mancini for another reason, for letting Jorginho taking that penalty.

 

I can't imagine another World Cup without Italy but now it's very much possible at least they have enough time to recover from this.

has played a bad match, play with the "falso nueve" isn't an italian scheme but we don't have forward totally fit at the time.........

I don't know if someone really expected a win in Belfast with two goals (at least) with Chiesa and Insigne ..........

 

However the "direct ticket" was lost with   in two matches we don't won and scored a only goal...

what i can say for Italy is that you cant always win for sure when you start with 4-6-0 or with forwards like belloti or immobile. Just remember what Italy had in attacker's position a few years before, Vieri, Inzaghi, Del Piero..

It looks like he's gone mentally in the last couple of months, just repeating the same two sentences with a tired/bored attitude, like he has something else to worry about. If that is the case and the problem can't be solved soon, it's better to part ways now. Not qualifying will greatly tarnish his legacy, it's a shame that can't be forgiven for an Euro win.
