Yara van Kerkhof won, although not because of the fall: she was in 1st coming out of the last turn and would have won anyway, everyone behind her fell :lol:

Maybe the huge kick he got on his neck/head in that scary fall yesterday shook it into the right place after all :d 

 

Seriously though, I was very positively surprised to see him today, that fall - and the hit afterwards - could have very easily have caused something very serious...

      The Technical director of the Dutch Olympic Committee has, using his discretionary powers, decided to include them in the team. He cites “extra-ordinary circumstances”, but has not stated what they are. The use of these powers is quite rare. They were used in 2022 to nominate an alpine-skier.
