Terrible news, guys.  :GBR  Biathlon on Eurosport this season in the UK will be highlights only.  Nothing live.

Slovak TV announced they will cover all races live (I mean Womens obviously, no reason to broadcast mens competition here :p) so with a decent vpn, go ahead to rtvs.sk

Why no Slovak single mixed relay though? Isn't the point of the SMR that you only need one man and one woman? :p

Or is it because they'll focus on the mixed only and nobody will do double duty like Tachizaki often does?

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

I actually might be at Le Grand Bornand for the races.  We will see.

I do remember reading something a while ago that there are really only two options in case a WC has to be cancelled due to lack of snow.

1 - cancel it

2 - stay at the previous week's location or move to the following week location.  In that case it would mean stay in Austria for two weeks.

The reports are that there is lots of snow stored that they have not put out on the course yet, but we will see.

Been around long enough to remember the Three Weeks of Pokljuka.

Apparently our federation is trying to field a "gimmick" Mens relay for the World Champs :p Since the entry standards are easier for WCh the young junior Damián Cesnek will be allowed to compete and the 4th guy will be 3 years retired hobby-coach Matej Kazár  was announced during the press conference.

more in this article presenting the new season and goals of the team (The goal is at least one Top 6 for Paja and one Top 10 for Ivona at the WCh...no special goals for WC)  https://sport.aktuality.sk/c/VOZg7q8/svetovy-pohar-slovensko-nie-je-schopne-postavit-stafetu-na-ms-mozno-aj-s-nadsencom/

Natalija Kočergina has been racing two relays a day for probably two years now and she's 37.

Usually always did better in the second race.
