I only read this after last week's show, but apparently this was only the second time ever (!) that Bruce Springsteen played Jersey Girl outside of the US 

 

Absolutely thrilling to have been part of that piece of Springsteen history by being at the show:

 

 

 

By the way, there was a girl behind me (I'd say around 20 years with what could be either her partner or her father) and she was crying so incredibly much as soon as this song started! She was screaming for Bruce to play this song and she nearly died when he showed the sign saying "Jersey Girl"

 

I can't stop wondering why she was crying so much, it looked as if it reminded her of someone close who very recently died or something..
