got it few days ago, my German is rather weak, so I need a lot of help from Google Translate, and it takes so much time, but it's worth reading really!

German television made a documentary about the same topic this year (but of course also in german), maybe you are interested?

when I was younger (dumber and less handsome than now :p) I was collecting for some reason also the FIFA World Cup books...seriously, no idea why I was doing that :lol:

Well, I don't like this document. This is not what I was looking for.

 

I liked that book because it is about Munich 1972 Games AS A WHOLE.

We usually remember only about terror, and IT HAS TO BE REMEMBERED FOREVER, but apart from that there are many interesting stories about those Games and some of them are well-mentioned in this book.

      Ju Jitsu    One of the worst martial arts really. Surely the middle east lobby.   The -52kg W final  deserved to win gold and did all attacks still lost to  who was trailing even on advantages and did nothing.      Total mockery of the sport. C'mon I'll happily watch Wushu here instead. Really wished to watch woodball

      Just realised there is Teqball here     Explains why there is no Sepaktakraw    I think the Teqball federation may have pledged to contribute to the hosting costs for the sport making it an easy choice for organizers and anyhow retired / 3rd string Sepaktakraw players only play it so believe that was the reason.     Anyway hate that artificial sport

      Race for LA28 Olympic berth starts as WBSC unveils Women's Softball World Cup Group Stage schedule   The WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup marks the first qualification event on the road to the LA28 Olympic Games, with one Olympic berth available for the top-ranked team at the Finals 2027.   A total of 57 games will be contested during the Group Stage, scheduled as follows: Prague from 16–20 June, Lima from 14–18 July, and Oklahoma City from 12–16 September.   Each group will feature a four-day, 15-game round-robin format, with the top four teams advancing to the Play-Offs. The top two teams will face each other for a direct spot in the Finals 2027, while the loser will play the winner of the third-place vs fourth-place matchup for the second qualification spot.       won the Team Sprint for the 1st time ever!      OK, no  and , but there were the  guys and  with "King" Lavreysen    so, still an amazing result to be proud of    in the meantime, not such a good ride in the men's Team Pursuit (the women were there with the Z-team, so, not worth any comment)
