Don't know how many upsets are in store for the remaining matches .It is going to be interesting to watch the play offs and quarters  especially in the  half with Germany and Ireland

India wins handily against a weak Italy (who likely felt the blow from losing 12-1).

 

India has been the strongest asian team for 2-3 years but this is their first good result in a world tournament, it's usually China and Korea who perform better than them against teams of other continents. They will also have good chance to win vs Ireland playing like this.

I don't really know all of the hockey rules, but umpires not recognizing Korea's late equalizer against the hosts looked somewhat fishy...

From what I saw, both teams didn't play that much, at least for three quarters. 

However, it is still a historical result for Italy, possibly the first of much more

Hopefully, we would finish in the top 4 and that would provide the boost to win Asian Games Gold and Olympic qualification.
