The reason for having so few starters is that you need to be eligible for downhill to be allowed to start. It was hard to attain the downhill standard with so few races amidst the pandemic. That is, unless you cheated like the Chinese.

In our team for example only S. Kolega was allowed to race, but chose not to. Zubčić was not qualified.
