Karolina Bosiek also made the final.

 

Takagi's tactics was to only score points on the finish line so she has been eliminated. This is some Dan Jansen-like stuff for her at these Olympics.

At least she has two gold medals (one in both events where she fell) to go back home to. And everyone in the Japanese team had a gold from 2018, too. So hopefully that makes it less traumatic.
