Do you have any news about the Asian Cup qualification for Paris?

nothing confirmed yet, Wikipedia is saying a diving cup between 18-30 of Nov without specifying the venue.

a side note: 18th to 30th for 4 diving disciplines !!! ..the only way this date range is correct if China will participate ..as a whole nation :roflmao:

An Oceanian Diving qualifier from November 30-December 1 in :AUS Brisbane.

Have they disappeared from the page? Or am I doing something wrong in searching them?

Any news about this event? It is supposed to start in 2 days, which I'm quite sure is not the case, but it will be held by the end of the month? :mumble:

The quotas probably getting reallocated anyway

Indeed, barring any surprise by Japanese, Malaysian or Korean athletes benefiting from Chinese not competing or sending their substitute divers

    • There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)

    • I read the Olympic qualification documents for weightlifting. A country can have the opportunity to send a maximum of 4 athletes in one gender, but the conditions are very strict.
    • world champion Jessica Schilder opened her season up with 19.78 in France.
    • wait! what???   so, there won't be specialized double sculls, but those boats would have to feature 2 single specialists if a Nation wants to enter 2 proper singles M+W??? tell me I misread the expalaination...
    • Yeah, they do get broadcast pretty regularly.  I remember even back in Bode Miller's day they would show the training.
