Certainly should raise the profile of World Relays... Pasolini
dodge 1,024 Posted January 27 #484 Share Posted January 27 Annoying for small nations that might have to choose between a mixed 4x400 or mens/womens 4x400 though Basically I’m thinking of Ireland here. We’d be top 16 in mixed/womens if it were times only but with a smaller pool they probably won’t have strong enough teams to qualify both in Nassau dullard and mpjmcevoy

Probably will concentrate on Mixed relays first and hope to qualify in first day. And next days in other relays in reperage. mpjmcevoy, dullard and Adriano

The world relays are still more than 3 months out, we don't know the draws yet. Sometimes, one heat might be with 1 strong team and other 4 teams with similar performance expectations to fight for the second Olympic spot. Lately, we haven't had much chances and opportunities in relays as we did not make it to major events. Now, in my opinion, strongest chances are for mixed 4x400 and female 4x400 with a strong young generation. Middle chances for male 4x100 and 4x400 and minor chances for female 4x100. But for past more than 10 years I finally see bigger chances in several relays. My guess is that will qualify 3 relays to Paris. stepansevs
