Apparently a Dutch former rower said on the radio that 'a few rowers tested positive'. Kind of afraid what news I'll wake up to :hairpull:

The British Eurosport co commentator cursed him. She was saying she expected to see rowers pull out due to Covid in later rounds.

the true worry: he might have infected many people of other teams, too...

 

I hope nobody knew about his positive test before the end of this morning's heats...:mumble:

Excellent idea to travel in a regular KLM flight, in between your neighbour and your aunt with their 3 day old COVID tests...and no, the athletes did not have their own section in the plane or anything. The way the Dutch team has handled the traveling goes on the stupidity list with the Czech antivaxxer doctor...

Dutch commentator, who was on the same regular KLM flight as the other Dutch cases, tested positive and went to the quarantaine hotel. Sucks for him, but at least no athlete, the bigger issue is that it's yet another one from this flight..
