I think we can be happy with six medals overall. Now all the focus is on 2024 Olympics/Paralympics cycle. I look forward to it. Next major event is probably Belgrade 2022 Indoor Athletics Championships

I decided to make a blog about the Olympics, the first post is here. https://gbgames.sport.blog/2022/03/03/after-two-olympic-games-celebrated-in-six-months-a-health-check-on-team-gb/

It is a long one, that recaps each sport's performance in Tokyo 2020/Beijing 2022 and gives some analysis on the health of our Team. I hope you read it and follow the blog as I will post more during the Paris 2024 qualification (at least I plan to).

Curling: :JPN 3-10 :GBR GOLD! I said to my dad on the day before the Olympics I don't know much about our medal hopes/chances, I just hope we win at least one gold so they play the national anthem there and it's happened. So delighted and noone deserves it more than Eve Muirhead.

Bobsleigh: Brad Hall with a 58.65 in Run 3, putting him in 6th with a total time of 2:56.34. And in the final run, 59.38 with a total time of 3:55.72, enough for 6th.

Just the Closing Ceremony to come of these Olympics and we get one gold medal, and one silver, both in curling. It's pretty disappointing of course, but it's probably better than we were fearing at one point. I feel like writing something longer about the state of our Olympic team, but for now I'm going to mope as I have nothing to do :)
