Bad start for the 2 main favorites Fourcade and Thingnes Bø. Germany  :GER starts Biathlon with 2 golds! Too difficult to loose 1st place in medals

I guess it's the best Olympic result for LIthuania excluding the figure skaters, Vida Venciene and Kestius Bulota. :p

Also pursuit for Strolia.

I believe so, he bettered Diana Rasimovičiūtė with 18th place in 2006.

Apparently the day didn't start very good for Peiffer ... first his rifle broke, so he had to switch it and then he fell down the stairs or something and hurt his elbow ... :mumble:

Mark Kirchner apparently "predicted" the gold for Peiffer ... before the race he said that since Peiffer became world champion in 2011, everyone else (Schempp, Doll and Lesser) all won an individual gold, so it was time for Peiffer to again win something + he told Peiffer that when he (Kirchner) became world champion in 1991 he also had the BIB 22, like Peiffer today.

Funnily enough, I actually predicted a bronze medal for Dominik Windisch. It's just that I predicted it to be the mass start :p Why did he have to go and betray me like that :d

Haha Windisch asking the other guys if he is allowed to jump on the podium already.

Always refreshing to see new athletes on the podium, the joy of winning your first olympic medal probably can't be compared to anything else in sport.

It's enogh germany. You can stop overachieving now. ;)

I feel incredibly sorry for eberhard. Not only did he miss the bronze medal by 0.7 seconds he also had a broken stick in the 2nd lap.

We also have to note that 2 finnish athletes finished top 20 on the men's side, i don't think that happened too often in the last couple of years.

I know right??  So amazing shooting for our guys   They just need to work their speed tho.....
