  1. is probably qualifying in Men's Long Jump, for example. But for other natios I get it, marathon needs a lot of training and quotas can't be announced too late. And about and , they already broke that rule last year. They do it if they want. For example they gave a quota to in both men's 1500 and womens 200 last olympic games. So it's not uncommon. Also, guy likely qualifies by world ranking as he's #81. He only needs one person rejecting their place

  5. The last international event he competed representing that I could found was the 2018 Euros. Three years has passed since that, so he wouldn't have any problems to represent another country. Now it's only waiting until WA gives the thumbs up. We spaniards are in the same scenario waiting for former Yulemnis Aguilar is given the green ligth in time for the ECH cause she already has spanish nationality.
  6. It's absurd. I'm the biggest refugee team defender in the world, I update their wikipedia pages and things like that, but I still fail tu understand how it works. Like, Cindy Ngamba wins a quota in the World Boxing qualifier, forfeiting the chance of another athlete getting the quota, but she still needs to get an invitation for it? If she already qualified, why? For that, dont allow refugees compiting in quialifiers and name yourself the team. It's the same with the Marathon guy. He's going to qualify via World Ranking stealing other runners place when he's already qualified to the Olympics. Its absurd.
  7. I tougth could not qualify in team events, and they are in the K2 entry list
  8. With the First Rotation finished, Maellyse Brassart (51.932 points) would won the olympic quota rigth now. But there are still two rotations more.
  9. I'm sorry but this is going out of hand. If you have two athletes as strong as the greeks, is yours federations blame only for not being able to rise a third athlete with a decent level enough to figth for the team quota. Asking for a wildcard is absurd. One is in, the other one is out. They had three years to read the qualification process.
  10. I think that they are going to award one in each event, and the remaining two to the reallocation.
  11. HAMBURG MARATHON - Hamburg, April 28, 2024 Women's Marathon Daiana Ocampo - 02:26:24 + Men's Marathon
  12. The only changes I would do to the Fencing qualification is taking out the "continent" rules in the ranking quotas. The eigth best teams qualify, and then the 6th best in world ranking (max 1 per country). And then 4 quotas in the continent qualification event. And that's would be it.
  13. 26th in the world wouldnt give you a quota in taekwondo, artistic swimming, judo, boxing, any team sport or most of the sailing classes
  14. SO, AS A SUMMARY: Mens IQFOIL: + ENP + Reallocation DNP Men's Kite: Men's ILCA7: + ENP Men's 49er: + Reallocation DNP Womens IQFOIL: + ENP + Reallocation DNP Women's Kite: Women's ILCA6: + ENP Women's 49er: + Reallocation DNP Mixed 470: Mixed Nacra 17 : + Reallocation DNP In my opinion, Developing Nations Programe is useless. Excluding Hong Kong, it just gave quotas to big countries. If it wasnt there, Peru or Singapore would qualify boats. An those are countries, in my opinion, much more worthy of a Developing Nations than Japan or Switzerland.
  15. Reallocation goes to Developing Nations, not?
  16. Poor oppresed italians and their almos 400 athletes in the Olympics
  17. I still don't get how Austria and Switzerland can be a Developing Nation but Perú can't. That doesn't make any sense to me.
  18. Damn, now it makes sense. WorldSailing did a confusing qualification process
  19. qualified in Surfing thanks to an Tripartite Invitation. https://olympics.com/es/noticias/surf-candelaria-resano-nicaragua-bryan-perez-el-salvador-cuotas-olimpicas-universalidad-paris-2024
  20. and got the quotas on Surfing https://olympics.com/es/noticias/surf-candelaria-resano-nicaragua-bryan-perez-el-salvador-cuotas-olimpicas-universalidad-paris-2024
  21. Peru, Cyprus, Brazil, Japan, Finland and Denmark finished better than the Austria athlete. That has to be a mistake, doesn't make sense.
  22. finnished 18th and 22nd....... And they gave the quota to when the process clearly sais that it would reallocate into Emerging Nations Programe..... But at least this I can get. But the other one? Doesn't make any sense with the published results.......
  23. How the hell did they get to those results???
