Well, in Poland we also have a reason to celebrate - our men go to Division A for the first time in history. Probably we won't do much more than Slovaks did this year, but still we are in great euphory.

Meanwhile, :DEN Danish men's team got relegated to C division! :yikes::facepalm: I mean, what?! How? :(

Our top team is focusing on the Olympic qualification, but it is surely worrying that our 2nd best team isn't even good enough for the B division!

:CAN will be represented by Val Sweeting / Brad Gushue (Olympic Gold medalist 2006) or Kaitlyn Lawes (gold medalist in 2014) and John Morris (gold medalist in 2010) in the mixed doubles in Pyeongchang.

Three pieces of news:

  • Lawes/Morris will represent :CAN in the mixed doubles in Pyeongchang
  • :GUY is expected to make its debut at the next world mixed doubles championships :yikes:
  • Also :BRA will challenge :CAN for the last spot in the men's worlds this year. Possibly the biggest mismatch in sport this year?
