Surely that consideration has nothing to do with that same athlete having a sub-par season to say the very least...

Anyway, that'll teach China! An athlete in one of the most obscure winter sports not coming, that is potentially threatening to the continuation of the Games.

Besides, does she mean not going or not qualifying? I mean, I do count three Germans....ahead of her.

Spoiler

Ok, she had a crash in the first one, but still.

what are the chances :NED will accept the quota here ? Is it even realistic to think about or we can already move to the next eligible country ?

Absolute zero.

Pretty sure the Dutch federation will dump them both after this season. Surely they must have realized by now that they got scammed here. :p

Jozef Ninis qualified for his 5th Olympics :yes

2006 - 22nd

2010 - 24th

2014 - 20th

2018 - 25th

let´s hope for a nice top 20 before the retirement.

Still remembering how good he started In PC 2018 when he was 7th after 1st run, but sadly crashed in the 2nd and then just kept on that 25th

    • This might be the stupidest thing I’ve ever read and the complaints by Uhlander are ridiculous and unjustified just because the decision benefits Canada and not her and it’ll lessen her odds of making the Olympics    Since when are other countries supposed to look out for you?

    • that's basically last year's IA Division Worlds roster the only new name is Finoro so, the names might well be there
    • I will do my best to organise a pairs competition also involving nations from the 4 teams that are eliminated in the first half of the team competition along with the lowest ranked individual nations at the halfway point (end of session 2) to form 8 pairs. Pairs will be balanced so that the highest ranked nation in the competition will be paired with the lowest ranked nation, second highest with the second lowest and so on. All of that will be based on the individual ranking at the halfway point.   This way every nation will have at least interest in some event until the end of the 3rd session.   I will probably base it closely on @mrv86‘s proposed rules, and have sprints every 3 rounds of votes. The pairs with most medals from those 3 rounds get the points along with an extra bonus for medal and points doubles.   I do only have 1 day to organise this now so I can’t promise anything though.
