  1. I think maybe this is a competition where already qualified athletes can reach the minimum qualification score for additional events, but as far as I'm concerned the only qualifying events are the World Championships and 2 stages of the World Cup.
  2. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Trump is more moderate and reasonable when compared to Bolsonaro Brazil is doomed!
  3. Yes, in Table Tennis the following nations won quotas: +5 +3 +3 +2 +1 +1 I don't think Shooting is a qualifying event, though - which is sad since Brazil and USA are dominating the competition
  4. Women's Sitting Volleyball semifinals are set: vs vs Winner of Brazil vs Canada will qualify for Tokyo since USA is already qualified (and will easily defeat Peru).
  5. Medal Standings after Day 2 World Records in Athletics
  6. It was really great, and next year we might have a new winner as Japan seems to be in really great form.
  7. Wheelchair Rugby semifinals are set: vs vs The Paralympics quota is USA's to lose, but Canada might surprise.

  9. Cuban flag looks a little different
  10. Isaquias Now he has 12 medals at world championships, 6 gold and 6 bronze - apparently he's not a big fan of silver, except for the Olympics where he won 2 of those
  11. Medal Standings after Day 1 World Records in Athletics
  12. All brazilian podium at the women's 200m T11 event
  13. Mostly in Athletics, but the indoor venues have a pretty good attendance - maybe because they're not so chilly
  14. For sure, and this kind of situation where the guide screw up has happened in the past with brazilian athletes. But I guess it's hard/expensive enough to find so many good guides to avoid this.
  15. "Strange" situation at the 5000m T13 event where the brazilian guide couldn't handle the pace, while the athlete himself was in much better shape and probably would have finish better than third At least he won a medal.
  16. Opening ceremony starting...
  17. This is good but those streamings with just one camera get boring really fast (unless you're really interested in the result). But it's okay since Athletics and Swimming will take most of the time anyway + I enjoyed the wheelchair rugby matches broadcast today.
  18. And it goes to
  19. Well, I hope you have a good time even though Brazil's situation is unstable right now. I highly doubt Bozo will be kicked out anytime soon. He might even be reelected in 2022. Anyway, first page of Globo site says it all. The president is being trashed by Europe leaders and now his fans can't say anymore that he's beloved by the world
  20. Actually yes, thanks for the tip (I hope this doesn't get blocked later since that's what happened with every single international streaming of the Pan Ams here) They're showing a Volleyball match with just one camera (but at least it's something) and apparently will broadcast Table Tennis later.
  21. Honestly I wish they could broadcast Volleyball (always a good level because of USA/Brazil) and maybe Football (even though this is not a qualification event for Paralympics). I would add Goalball to that list too but this is not a very TV-friendly sport IMO. About individual sports, Track Cycling and Powerlifting should definitely be among the broadcast sports.
  22. Funny they'll show Badminton when this sport was not available for broadcast at the Pan Ams (for instance, men's singles final was shown here from a camera at the side of the court, which wasn't great). Maybe because it's a new sport both here and at the Paralympics and they wanna see how it goes?
  23. It's a circus. Each day Brazil is getting worse. Maybe people need the suffering so that in four years they elect someone else.
  24. Apparently only Athletics, Swimming, Wheelchair Basketball and Rugby + ceremonies will be broadcast.
  25. That is worrying since this was the Olympic selection event for some nations.
