  1. but he is alive and healthy. that´s the most important about SVK sailing. we love Coubertin in our country
  2. huraa, 2nd in the 1st repechage, meaning they advanced to the semifinals, so the goal of our rowing is done
  3. Still 2 clubs in EL (+ Trnava in CL) this is unusually large amount of SVK teams still competing in 3rd preliminary rounds, don´t know if that even happened before. DAC Highlights of SVK teams 2nd Qualifying Round 2nd Leg AS Trenčín - Gornik Zabrze (POL) 4-1 (1st Leg Result : Gornik Zabrze - Trenčín 0-1) In Aggr. Trenčín - Zabrze 5-1 - Trenčín qualified Dinamo Minsk (BLR) - DAC Dunajská Streda 4-1 (1st leg result : DAC - Dinamo Minsk 1-3) in aggr. 4. and qualified for the Women´s Team Final ( and as Reserves) Team finished 19th ahead of 7 other competing teams with 139.596. not bad Also nice 19th place of Barbora Mokošová in Uneven Bars (13.166), but terrible beam performance, only 60th (10.733) even behind her team mate Kalamárová (50th) don´t know if that even happened that she lost to another SVK athlete in the last few years. 27th in FX (12.533) not bad, also the youngs Radka Kalamárová and Chiara Bunce with quite solid result according to our standards
  5. I expected a bit more from them, to be honest. but man, this is just awful !
  6. The Official Site is apparently working now, but the results somehow weren´t updated since the site was down
  7. Barbora Mokošová currently 9th in UB after 3 subdivisions. Very nice result pity for the beam in other hand but with her total today she would qualify for the all-around if this event would have been contested here ofc
  8. Our only boat competing in this tournament, the LM2x finished 5th in 2nd heat (yay we actually not finished last as they beat one boat from SLO) and will retry the miracle tomorrow in the repechages
  9. Two of my fav Football NT signed new coaches. France native Algerian, former PSG, Man City or Olympique Marseille player Djamel Belmadi is the new coach of the country he represented in 2000-2004, will replace the legendary Rabah Madjer who resigned in June. also the Colombian Hernan Dario Gomez the coach of Panama at this years WC in Russia return to , he already led Ecuador´s NT from the bench and managed to qualify the country for the first time to the World Cup in 2002.
  10. Ok..so once more time...Poland is not exactly Eastern Europe
  11. btw there also livestreams available in the official site https://www.eurovisionsports.tv/EuropeanChamps18/ Sadly there no gymnastics so far
  12. Cross-Country Skiing FIS World Cup 2018 - 2019 Multi-Stage Event - 24 November 2018 - 24 March 2019 Official Website

  14. Yeah, the guy is the biggest mystery in the whole human history. a real schizophrenic, like two personalities in one body, in a nice sunny day he is able to play absolute top tennis and eliminate in a impressive way any big guns, but then suddenly for some unknown reason the next day/week he just lose his focus and without fighting receive two bagels or so... a real waste of talent this guy, I tell you
  15. Well, I assume some guys like Vasily Levit or Michael Conlan have they idea about that too
  16. Yeah, well, this is not about pessimism but rather about my personal gained experiences during last years in this case. too much disappointment, so this time I would rather not expect anything and maybe being pleasantly surprised at the end.
  17. Looks like our federation will try to change history and achieve some miracles with qualifying a athlete in a combat sport We are going to enter athletes in a majority of qualifying tournaments, and Milan Randl somehow decided few weeks ago to change radically everything and restart his qualifying process from absolute zero. He decided to leave his category and compete the whole Tokyo 2020 cycle in the -90kg class, so he lost in last weeks more than 10 Kg eating only vegetables and meat, he stopped carbohydrates, potatoes and rice and almost dead after all this he already entered the last weeks GP in Zagreb.. but yeah, again qualifying anyone in combat sport is usually a unattainable challenge for us, so even with all those changes and innovations, I still expect the same amount of combat sports athletes as we had in Rio - a big nil
  18. Interesting, that the Multisports European Championships site is using NOCs in the schedule (is this a attempt to became the real European Games ?) https://www.europeanchampionships.com/results/en/all-sports/noc-schedule.htm but when will they start the Live Results app ?
