  8. Final update. After the EA refusal for our request about the 4 wild cards (the Velďáková sisters, Jana in LJ and Dana in TJ, Nikola Lomnická in HT and Patrik Žeňúch in JT) and the definitive refusal for Stanislava Lajčáková in 100m H. Our final team will consist of 21 Athletes. At least EA Agreed and allowed to two our athletes to start also in one more event, so Šimon Bujna will compete also in 100m and Alexandra Bezeková in 200m. Final Updated and confirmed Team Slovakia As usual, obviously I´ll not unveil my personal goal, but yeah, I (we) are dreaming about something... I´ll only say that 3 top 10s would be satisfying

  10. Avangard Omsk is in huge troubles prior to the new KHL season, the club Probably irrevocably lost it´s home venue. It was found some serious deficiencies in the construction of the Omsk Arena. Avangard has to look for a new home and has to report it to the KHL leaders by August 15th. Currently, there are two options for Avangard in Russia - moving to Moscow and performing in Mytishchi, and the second alternative is to find a temporary home in Krasnoyarsk.

  13. The KHL lords once again can not stop to surprise me with inventing new "innovations" . This time they came with such "brilliant" idea to play two home matches of Slovan, Dinamo Riga and Jokerit Helsinki abroad of their home countries... Slovan will play for example 2 home matches in Vienna (AUT) and both matches against two big guns against CSKA Moscow the Friday 26th October and two days later against SKA St. Petersburg. Also Jokerit Helsinki will play 2 games abroad in Tallinn (EST) Spartak Moscow and Severstal Cherepovets. but the "best" is for Dinamo Riga which must play 2 of their home matches in Zurich (SUI) only some 1500 km from their own arena just like Slovan against the top two teams CSKA and SKA. Peak of stupidity Now fans in Bratislava and Riga will miss games with CSKA and St. Petersburg because of this... Don´t know why for Riga, but KHL probably wants to take revenge to Slovan for this epic faux pas..
  14. Correct ! It was announced already in May. It will be the last chance for Europeans which failed at the WCh one year before in Szeged (HUN) to qualify.
