  1. USA and CAN would currently qualify within Top 2 in race walk mixed relay. https://worldathletics.org/stats-zone/road-to/7153115?eventId=10230211 One team per NOC in this event??? No Asian Games results included here - this event in Hangzhou looked different than Paris format?!
  2. What about 1 male / 1 female per NOC rule - does it still exist? If yes, these athletes are still within quota limits for each event? So - if we assume that all NOCs send all the possible athletes mentioned on Road To Paris - we don't know what's the final cut for e.g. M High Jump - no. 32 on Road To Paris list or higher because e.g. 2 athletes will go within 1 male per NOC rule???
  3. TEAM SPORTS on Day 12 Wed 07.08 BASKETBALL - W Quarters HANDBALL - M Quarters HOCKEY - W Semis VOLLEYBALL - M Semis WATER POLO - M Quarters
  4. Coming back to individual apparatus finals in artistic gymnastics schedule: the official website shows the number of gold medal events on each day. If I count it well, that would be 4 apparatus finals on Sat 03.08 and 3 each on Sun 04.08 and Mon 05.08 but time schedule for Mon 05.08 is indeed longer so it would be good for 4 events then... https://olympics.com/en/news/olympic-games-paris-2024-full-schedule-and-day-by-day-competitions

  7. I wonder if Team GB will not send to Paris athletes who don’t get entry standards like they did in Budapest WCH. What other NOCs could do the same? Germany? Sweden? Canada? China? Netherlands? Australia? Italy? New Zealand? Poland will send everyone who can go if not injured or totally out of form. France the same i think.
  8. This road to thing will be one of the most visited websites for me in the next months heh
  9. If there is one European Union NOC at summer olympics... how would it look like? I mean, I love EU, I do!!!! but I wouldn't like to see that. Independent countries within EU are best possible situation. But... if it happened, if EU was United States of Europe - like USA - how would it be? How would their team look like in an olympics with an outside-EU host (e.g. LA 28)??? I wonder how would qualifications look like, whether all the team sports would be there for EU team, what would be their biggest medal chances, who would get much more medals than normal (USA, China, GB, Australia or others...) Maybe a stupid idea but... after these last elections in Poland I think a bit how USE (United States of Europe) would look like...
  10. When Nadeem got his medal in javelin in Budapest 2023 athletics WCH, he was the only one who didn't get a natonal flag from his buddies to cherish the moment with. It was so sad to look at this. It wasn't a totally unexpected medal tbh, so why didn't they prepare sth for him??? We were sitting very close to the javelin inrun, so if we only have green pencils and a piece of white material, we would make it for him. Sad.
