Qualification Tracker

Test

Everything posted by heywoodu

  1. As expert on the qualification procedures (especially for small nations): do you think it would be interesting to open a thread where we keep track of which countries get the Tripartite quotas in which sports? I think it would be interesting to have a total overview of that, but the thread we're in right now isn't the right one (as of course there might be Tripartite spots going to already qualified NOC's).
  2. Sure you can I'll write down Guam and Tonga as 2nd and 3rd choices for you
  3. Wanderer, have you decided on your 1st and 2nd choice yet?
  4. Try this, the live results for the qualifying: http://www.fig-gymnastics.com/publicdir/live_results/14829/TRA/qual/qual_wom_ind.php
  5. http://www.fig-gymnastics.com/minisite/schedule.php?idevent=14829 TRA = trampoline
  6. Would you have a problem if I write Samoa down as your 1st choice? Because Fiji is very likely going to have over 50 athletes so it's almost not eligible anymore However, if you're really clear about specifically wanting Fiji, that shouldn't be a problem
  7. I've updated the list and I think I didn't miss anything. A few notes: - hckosice, do you want Nicaragua as 2nd choice as long as nobody else takes them or will you go full focus on Ecuador? - Malik and bestmen, I did not include SADR in the list. It's nothing personal and nothing political, it's just that they are not a nation competing in Rio If they compete in Tokyo 2020, you would of course be completely welcome to support them in this thread - To clarify: countries that have (1st choice) behind them are definitely taken, just like countries that only have a username behind them (like mine or Agger, one choice). Countries which are a 2nd or 3rd choice are still available if you want them as your first choice Wonderful to see so many people participating in this in a matter of hours already
  8. Palestine is already taken because Malik had it as his first choice, so do you accept it if I write down Comores for you? Nobody has chosen Comores as 1st choice yet
  9. That's a nation that's not only ineligible for this thread, but it's not even eligible for the Olympics
  10. The situation is not straightforward at all. It's unfair for her to ban her, but it's quite unfair for the others to be competing against someone who is genetically between men and women.
  11. I still dont agree about the 200m but I pretty much entirely agree on the 100m percentages. Personally I think the chance of her winning 0 gold medals is around 25-30%
  12. I believe in the Dutch forum the small European nations are not eligible but what the heck, feel free to choose them
  13. You could go for the option I explained to Josh a couple posts earlier: choose one as your nation and keep the other as "second nation" unless someone else comes around to claim it
  14. The big guy is missing after all
  15. It might not be "exotic" enough but given your nationality there might be an exception
  16. First I'd say everyone chooses 1 nation, but given the fact we don't have that many active users, it might be possible to choose 2 or 3. How about choosing a "1st priority" (and so on) when you choose multiple nations, so if someone else comes and really wants a nation you have, they can take it? Example, you post: 1. Tuvalu 2. Cook Islands 3. Vanuatu Shortly after, someone desperately wants to do Cook Islands (let's say for personal reasons), so this person is still allowed to take it Basically I think we shouldn't be too strict - after all it's just for fun and it's not like we have 150 active users - and on the other hand we also shouldn't have 5+ nations for one user. Of course when the Olympics are coming close and nations are still up for grabs, feel free to pick them up
  17. After one and a half month on the new Totallympics, I must say it's going very well I think Of course it's still a huge shame so much was lost, but it is again as active as it was before and that's great to see
  18. I found more This thread on the Dutch forum often has these GIF's made by the users there http://forum.fok.nl/topic/2291933
  19. Van Rijthoven is sort of our last hope for now, the rest is so incredibly mentally weak. Haase is one of the most annoying players to watch...if he misses one point, he starts complaining to the umpire and doing all kind of weird stuff. I remember him at Rosmalen (I believe) a few years ago, someone was playing some music outside of the stadium and he didn't like it, so all of a sudden, he shouted: "AAAH TURN OFF THAT MUSIC!!!!!" This has become a famous meme on a Dutch forum ever since. Especially given that someone in the audience reacted with "Come on, start playing tennis."
  20. Robin Haase should go to that ATP tournament, hoping that most top players are either at the Olympics or taking a rest
  21. Personally on the Dutch forum I've chosen Bhutan, assuming they'll get at least one wildcard in the archery. I'll do the same here For all future Winter Olympics, I'm hereby already claiming Brazil
