  1. Since there's basically no answers or anything, I've taken the liberty to open a thread for the Tour de Suisse, let's see how that's gonna work out. I do hope there won't be an "omg, you anarchist/rebel!" kind of reaction resulting in the thread being closed
  2. Men's Road Cycling UCI Tour de Suisse 2017 Various Cities (SUI) - 10 June 2017 - 18 June 2017 Totallympics Results Thread
  3. The only question I have is whether or not Wawrinka can break Robin Haase's RG17 record by winning more than 8 games against Nadal (Haase won 8, more than anyone else so far)
  4. Slovakia in a world champs final, awesome

  6. Group fight, everyone on the tatami and the team with the most ippons in one minute wins
  7. Who helps me in supporting Daniel Dhers to beat the Americans for gold?

  9. Excellent idea! And why not a thread for certain big things going on? Like in cross-country skiing where there's this whole Therese Johaug case that's been going on for quite a while now, a decent thread could have been filled with that. One could easily say "To stay up to date on the Johaug case, keep an eye on this thread on Totallympics and while you're at it, why not register and help us stay updated?" or something.
  10. Why do people quote this kind of posts when it says in huge letters START COPYING HERE?

  13. Aah hold on a minute, I did not see that joke there. Damn it
  14. Even if you don't count the horses?
  15. Just kicking out equestrian would've made the entire Olympics significantly more youthful as well
  16. No idea why this thread doesn't appear in the active threads part
  17. Those would be alright if they took away women's 800 and men's 1500 Having both 800 and 1500 for both genders is so unnecessary.
  18. Although road cycling is in trouble, where the most doping cases are coming from.
  19. I'd cut the +105kg, but I know that's not gonna happen
  20. By the way @MHSN, care to join my tiny little celebration that taekwondo remains completely unaffected in any way? No weird mixed stuff, no losing weights or athletes or anything
  21. Kim Jong-un will nuke the IOC's headquarters when they do that
  22. Wrestling being in trouble is not in general unfair, indeed with all the controversies and whatnot. Same thing for weightlifting, although it should be more because of doping problems than gender stuff
  23. Luckily that has a rich history as an event in world championships, where the mixed team event has been contested for a long ti....oh wait, it has no history at all.
  24. Suggestion for the IOC: why not scrap the whole men/women thing and just have only mixed events? So in athletics for example only 'the 100m', no men's 100m or women's 100m, but an open 100m where both women and men can compete (and so on for each and every discipline/event)? Then you've got full equality and no terribly unfair splits between men and women anymore, right?
  25. I'm happy mixed team taekwondo didn't win by the way, at least one 'loss' for the 'everything must be mixed'-maffia
