  1. The suspended Russians in bobsleigh and skeleton (at least most of them, if not all) are for now allowed to compete in IBSF competitions again, while waiting for IOC's reasoned decision. http://www.ibsf.org/en/news/20356-ibsf-hearing-panel-decides-the-provisionally-suspension-on-several-russian-athletes-and-officials-must-be-lifted
  2. Fantastic result from Dolder as well, previous best ever was a 15th place
  3. Tarjei B throwing away the win
  4. Stranger things have happened
  5. That's the only real problem I have with it, but then again, artificial track luge isn't that much 'wider' (Germany, Russia, Austria/Italy somewhat, and then you're already coming to much smaller teams like Latvia, USA and Canada).
  6. At least natural luge is something rather different, but all those sprint things...and the basically non-existing women's doubles...dear lord
  7. For fuck's sake, bunch of absolute idiots
  8. By the way, Saudi Arabia in group A, Iran in group B....who is going to chicken out if one wins the group and the other finished 2nd and they have to play each other in the first KO round?
  9. Could someone be a dear and tell me how much Charron, Martinez Santiago en Fattouh CJ'ed in the women's 63kg? http://www.iwf.net/results/results-by-events/?event=405 So not their final positions, just the CJ kilograms and nothing more (I've watched the snatch and am now getting ready to watch the CJ without knowing the final results yet, but since those three were in the B division, I won't see them in the broadcast, so I won't know what their weights were, meaning I don't know how the competition is developing without knowing their weights ). If someone could fill this in, it'd be much appreciated: Charron: ..kg Martinez Santiago: ..kg Fattouh: ..kg
  10. Japan is doing quite alright at the Grand Slam in Tokyo.
  11. Auctioning off Zenith to the depths of hell like they did with Totilas hasn't worked and they have given up on that now, meaning he will remain with Jeroen Dubbeldam for the entire Olympic cycle
  12. Ah that can't be found unfortunately, I'm doing this manually (so there's no 100% guarantee it's right) There's also a user here who does it for the men if I'm not mistaken (@prso1000?)
  13. Wait, there's a World Cup next year? Didn't know
  14. On Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biathlon_at_the_2018_Winter_Olympics_–_Qualification All nations outside the top-22 are non-qualified nations. And welcome!
  15. Yeah, only needed two 27.8 laps to get to the WR....unbelievable that didn't happen
  16. Tied for 9th fastest ever (with Lee)
  17. Damn, Bloemen doing this on the 5k...in this shape he'd go under 12 minutes on the 10k
  18. Bergsma terrible, Kooiman meh, Team Clafis has a problem. Although I still think especially Bergsma won't have too many problems qualifying in the 10k, no reason to be in great shape or attack mode now.
  19. And a Wüst-like finish
  20. Wüst-like start from Pedersen
  21. 6:22, dude, please
