  3. Sure, I'm not doubting those three are amazing players. It's just that, in almost every sport the current great is always considered to be 'the best ever' or at least 'one of the best ever' (Federer/Nadal/Djokovic, Schumacher/Vettel/Hamilton, M Fourcade, M Hirscher, C Ronaldo/Messi etc) and it always seems like everyone forgets the possibility that maybe their competition is just, relatively speaking, not really strong leading to them winning so much as they do
  4. Yet again something that makes you wonder: are the big 3 of the past 15 years so good or is the rest of the past 15 years so bad? Everyone seems inclined to go for the first option, personally I find it rather unrealistic to have three of the 4-5 best ever players all in the same time period
  5. Nobody is gonna fall for Djokovic's "I'm not feeling well" act anymore
  6. I feel absolutely awful for that 13-year old Sri Lankan girl who fell after literally half a minute
  7. Norris is so overrated.
  8. Suarez 2.0
  9. If you've got 10-20 minutes to spare, watch the 4th quarter of the African U18 championships in Bamako (Mali), Mali vs Senegal I'll give the link, here, so the YouTube thumbnail won't spoil the result
  10. Yay, the ice of yesterday in Chile has become....even more icy. The idea to change today's distance race to a sprint was rejected, now it's a matter of hoping everyone survives this way too dangerous course without major injuries..
  11. Yay, winning in Wuhan of all places. That makes a career.
  12. Good luck to the commentators tomorrow saying we're going from Salamanca VIII Centenario Universidad de Salamanca to Fermoselle Bermillo de Sayago
  13. I can now confirm the marriage part
  14. Hurry it up please, someone is waiting for some Olympic hardware
  15. ...and competes in Chile!
  16. This should help lower FIS points for races in Brazil a little And about the Thai, I'm guessing some connection with a German, to add some more randomness https://data.fis-ski.com/dynamic/results.html?sector=CC&raceid=31716 I'll ask, now I'm curious.
  17. https://data.fis-ski.com/dynamic/results.html?sector=CC&raceid=31715 Nice winner Too bad Bruna slipped away again and again (including having to go back 20 meters after going off-track) on the very, very icy snow where there was no grip whatsoever. She just suddenly realized yesterday she's qualified for the world champs though, so no pressure anymore
  18. This hurts my heart, the National Museum of Brazil has been destroyed by fire, including literally millions of invaluable pieces of history https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-45392668
  19. Cross-posting this How many Rio 2016 Olympians have passed away already, does anyone know?
  20. And down the drain goes his 91st place in GC, awful price for freely making up a minute or so and getting back in the stage win fight
  21. All day live today Ok, in the Tour de France every day was all day live if you wanted, but still
  22. We're finishing in the 'birthplace' of a certain GC rider by the way, La Covatilla In 2011 Dan Martin outsprinted Bauke Mollema for the win there, but in the same lead group were Juan Jose Cobo (who won the Vuelta, haha) and the unknown British rider Chris Froome....who finished somewhere way down the standings between the sprinters in the Tour of Poland a bit earlier, and now suddenly climbed with the very best and rode his sickness-filled body to 2nd place in the GC
  23. Especially for a world class country in korfball
  24. It works without VPN
