  1. After this American medal, I have a feeling Bouju might give us a British medal as well It might help them to feel a bit more comfortable: they were feeling a bit of shame and embarassment for not speaking any word of Dutch between their Dutch teammates.
  2. I had no idea she once jumped almost 7 meters Even more surprising (for me), I had no idea Ibarguen is also a very talented high jumper, with a 1.93 PB and very good results in the juniors and in South American competitions until not that long ago
  3. Not even the starting gun is working properly, half the field ran despite a false start
  4. Simply sweating doesn't make you lose significant weight (in that moment, yeah, which is why boxers/weightlifters/MMA fighters etc use it, but not long term, that's just dehydration).
  5. On the other hand, our friend @Gianlu33 does like a bunga bunga party now and then
  6. Yeah and if you take a bath in the sand you just stop eating normal food so you lose weight. Duh.
  7. Exactly, and I wonder how I've managed to go from 100kg to 80kg between May and (early) December last year
  8. So random, I mean, 109+kg 61, 81, 89, 96, 102, 109, 49, 59, 71, 81, 87.....the weight classes are triggering me like nothing has ever done before
  9. It's weightlifting, these classes will be gone too by the time our kids are on Totallympics
  10. Mine already worked mate And I didn't need to be half buried in the sand for it.
  11. Losing 10-15kg in a few days sounds great, but so does an epic food poisoning and that's not healthy neither. So no thanks, I prefer to lose my weight in a healthy way: exercise, no excessive snacking and slowly losing weight
  12. Haase dropping completely random balls into the net when Kyrgios is down and out for the point and the court is completely open, like...
  13. Well yeah, I would have 100% preferred Innsbruck over Graz, don't get me wrong Innsbruck
  14. The need to have everything as close together as possible is a large part of what makes it so expensive. When you accept bigger distances, you can much more easily use facilities that already exist and 'only' need some freshening up instead of being built from scratch. Besides, these big distances being a problem depends on the infrastructure. If it's relatively uncomplicated to get from place A to place B by public transport in a couple of hours, I don't see a big problem.
  15. The Olympics being held in a pure wintersports nation. They're not my favourites for 2026 by the way, but I'm getting tired of this "it's all too expensive" crying.
  16. To be fair, the camera directing was awful at that finish
  17. That sprint from Demir That was just running
  18. Look, there are like 9 people watching the U18 European championships girls 5000m race walk. If you want to be seen, you have to either get a medal or finish dead-last and be in view of those 3 people who are like "aaw look she tried so hard"
  19. Probably, but still. At least give the option for a combined list.
