  1. Bayern, Man U, AS Monaco and Inter sounds like fun
  2. Exactly. And it's so annoying that people seem to forget there's also something in between. One example I've often seen on a Dutch forum in the ever-present refugee discussion is like this: User A: "I don't think European countries should accept an unlimited stream of refugees, especially from countries where there's currently not a war going on." User B: "OMG you extremist neo-nazi racist!!" And the other way User C: "I think European countries should be careful about refusing refugees, we can be a bit more welcoming." User D: "OMG you extremist Antifa-loving traitor!" Ugh.
  3. Bouhanni got penalized and fined for a fight with.....his own team manager during yesterday's stage, in which he hit the car. So unexpected!
  4. Four times a quarter marathon already exists mate, it's called a marathon
  5. Never been in the world top-150 and then, bam, kick out the former world number one (and with seriously good play, I might add)
  6. On my way walking from the train station to work I heard a nice quote on ESPN Sports Radio of all places "I don't advocate a specific political opinion, but I don't need to sign up to yours. And if I don't, that doesn't automatically make me an idiot, a racist or a homophobe." Not really meant to say something about this situation here, I just heard it and thought "hey, that makes me think of a ton of discussions nowadays, where people who don't agree with you simply say you're either an idiot, a neo-nazi or a racist instead of actually coming up with arguments and having a civilized discussion."
  7. Oh I don't disagree. Also, I don't think that's inherently 'wrong' or 'evil', it's just not something you agree with (and me neither). The extreme version, sure, one might say is dangerous, but not every bit of nationalism is automatically extreme.
  8. Muchovaaaaaaaa
  9. heywoodu1. Michal Kwiatkowski (2) - 22. Dylan Teuns (67) - 693. Elia Viviani (1) - 704. Wilco Kelderman (20) - 905. Matteo Trentin (172) - 262 6. Giacomo Nizzolo
  10. Muchova taking set two against Muguruza with some awesome shots
  11. I very much doubt that. They might want to do it in ways other people don't agree with (like every politician ever had people disagreeing with them), sure, but I don't think they see them as unimportant issues.
  12. Haase casually destroying 8 (!) match points for Eubanks/Young (including 4 consecutive ones in the deciding tiebreak at 6-2) and then finishing it off on the very first match point All that after completely pushing McDonald to utter exhaustion yesterday.
  13. Out: everything that is not running, throwing a discus, racing with chariots or wrestling.
  14. @dcro You're a good man, so I just want you to know in advance I'm never again taking you seriously if you don't win this
  15. According to the Dutch NOS, Stephens (or 'Stephems') has already won in two sets
  16. Yes, because for my example I counted 'for years to come' as two years, so until and including 2020. Which is 9 Grand Slams I definitely think it's very possible one of the next nine Grand Slams will be won by a man who hasn't won one before.
  17. Johnson made a wrong step and is in physical trouble
  18. You said 'for years to come', that's different than just the US Open 2018
  19. I dare to bet that in 2018, 2019 or 2020 someone will win a men's singles GS who has never won one before
  20. I do think it's mostly that (well, the opposite of 'great' obviously). Honestly I think most of these classmates really aren't bad people or something, good chance they'll live their adult life with awful regret of what they did as a 9-year old.
  21. Aren't most kids that age grossed out by kids of the other gender (in the case of straight people, which is the majority)? I certainly don't remember even remotely thinking about that stuff when I was 9.
  22. Churandy And Shkurenov as reserve, what?
  23. 200m: Divine Oduduru (NGR), Ncincihli Titi (RSA)
  24. I'm just gonna assume '1 in singles, 2 in doubles' counts as 3
