  1. Just as serious as Lopez losing 1:30 hours in an ITT.
  2. Which is a bit of a problem, because they are sort of the 'keys' in all of this.
  3. True. The problematic side though is that now yet again people have 17 more reasons to try this often deadly journey, and criminals/smugglers can make more millions (and get more powerful) by taking all of their money and stuff...
  4. Well, whatever one's opinion, I think 'free' might be a bit of an overstatement here...no? I don't think it's like "here's your Italian passport, go explore the country and find yourself a job"?
  5. Live timing: http://www.tissottiming.com/2018/vue/nl-nl/Default/Stage/1/Live
  6. Starting times, the first one gets underway in a few minutes: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FaoJQj3EqOvLiz1quIYsHIhnTves453_/view
  7. Great, I was just wondering if this name could be made harder.
  8. And that's gold for the home team and .
  9. 19-year old Tadej Pogacar of Slovenia is well on his way to winning the Tour de l'Avenir with one (hard!) stage to go tomorrow.
  10. This is taking it way too far....a NASCAR driver has lost a sponsorship deal, because his father used a racial slur for African-Americans in a radio interview....in the 1980's! https://www.nytimes.com/2018/08/24/sports/autoracing/conor-daly-nascar-racial-slur.html According to his father, the slur didn't mean anything that bad in his native Ireland, which he didn't know at first when arriving in the US, and after finding out what it means in the US, he never used it anymore. Yet now, literally decades later, his son gets in sponsorship trouble for a word he said on the radio. That is pure stupidity.
  11. Are they also talking about turning the boat back around, and doing so with all other boats, to maybe discourage people from trying this dangerous journey and maybe have less smuglers get rich by abusing these people?
  12. Zuk takes the gold, expected domination by the two athletes who are simply three classes above this field (and maybe one above Vasnetcova)
  13. Davidova is SO MUCH faster than the rest I'm guessing the only one with a somewhat realistic shot at attacking her is Zuk.
  14. I noticed this! And was wondering why there was no coach doing it like normally
  15. Luckily Germany of the 30's didn't lead to any trouble
  16. Was this the last major competition with these weight categories, apart from the world champs later this year?
  17. That's utterly bizarre
  18. 240? But....while being under 94kg?
  19. Rostami Moradi Even a non-expert like me saw that coming after he threw that 182kg in the air like it was an apple.
  20. And Serena's suit is the one the Roland Garros dude wants to ban?!
  21. Nice that we're on the same side in this match-up
  22. When you're not happy about being on TV
  23. Ah crap, forgot weightlifting Luckily the YouTube streams can be rewinded
  24. Oh and the uphill/downhill penalty loop: On the far left is where the track goes (behind 'us' is the shooting range), the finger is pointing in the direction of the penalty loop, which indeed starts with a climb (blue line is to indicate that first turn to the right, immediately after the blue 'fence' is not the turn of the loop yet, that comes in the second part as shown by the line)
