  1. No really, wonderful snow conditions in Bariloche
  2. Some news: Richie Porte has had intestinal problems, this time his trouble starts even before day 1. Jon Aberasturi has hurt his knee yesterday, so he might be out of contention for the first few days.
  3. The Americans have a junior who is from Nove Mesto https://ibu.blob.core.windows.net/docs/1718/SB/SWRL/CH__/JMSP/BT_C59A_1.0.pdf Bib 11
  4. 7 people I'm already satisfied
  5. The Dutch dressage coach is no longer the Dutch dressage coach, rather unfortunate moment. There won't be a new coach as of yet, private coaches and the technical director will take over for the WEG.
  6. Please do translate if he does so again
  7. You don't believe the planet is flat? Surprise of the year.
  8. Question for our Indian friends: do Indian fans have any other chants than the incredibly monotonous and never-ending "Indiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa India! Indiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa India! Indiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa India!" I've been hearing at every single sport when any random Indian athlete competes? First I thought it was "Iraaaaaaaaaaan Iran! Iraaaaaaaaaaaan Iran!" but after a while I discovered it must be India, since then I heard the Iranians chanting "Iran! Iran! Iran! Iran! Iran! Iran! Iran! Iran! Iran! Iran!"
  9. Am I correct in saying 94kg weightlifting starts in an hour?
  10. Wow, that marathon finish For a moment I thought the incredible finish between the Mongolian (who else but Ser-Od Bat-Ochir the Eternal )and North Korean was for bronze (I replayed as far as I could on the live stream, which was until right after the finish when they were showing replays), but apparently that was for 5th. The fight of the Kyrgyz and Korean guys to make it to the finish was quite something too though
  11. Basque ex-cyclist Javier Otxoa has died, aged 43. Tragic story, basically he was a very promising rider (winning a Tour de France stage in 2000 with an epic ride in the mountains), but had an accident in 2001 in which his twin brother died and he got severely and permanently injured (cerebral palsy). Otxoa didn't give up and won gold and silver in both the 2004 and 2008 Paralympic Games. After a long illness he died today in the province of Malaga, where the Vuelta will start tomorrow. http://www.marca.com/ciclismo/vuelta-espana/2018/08/24/5b8056e9468aeb51068b457b.html
  12. And this is why VAR needs to be in every major competition This is one of the most clear robberies in recent years.
  13. I thought this was a semi final
  14. Mali is destroying Guinea so far and the venue is.....LOUD
  15. When we were 6 years old we were fighting, yet you have no problem watching boxing or something
  16. Because I want to see kabaddi. Not that complicated, really.
  17. Great, one of the live streams is showing highlights of the day (or did so one and a half hour ago but it can be replayed), maybe I can see some kabaddi after all without knowing the final result yet! Excellent to watch this during the break of the wheelchair basketball world champs semi final with the Netherlands
  18. Impressive bit of willpower from Szczczszcurek, after the last shooting he was 33 seconds ahead of Pidruchnyi, so the Ukrainian was clearly much faster, but he managed to outsprint him by a tiny tiny margin
  19. True but at least we can actually see the sport for free
  20. Half the players at the Australian Open would have been banned then
  21. Well yeah apart from that
  22. That was an impressive showing by Shoping. Easy skiing to keep the lead rather large and a very fast shooting without any kind of a doubt, hitting all targets.
  23. FIBA knows how to bring their sport to people, even the African U18 championships have live streams. We knew that for the women, but now the men have them too on their YouTube channel In 2 hours from now, Mali starts their first game against Guinea, let's see if the atmosphere will be just as awesome (it was already a bit loud at Uganda - DR Congo, so I have high hopes ).
