  1. I like it a lot more than that weird circle-thingy the logo is now
  2. I was a fan of Hamilton when he made his debut and remember cheering a lot when he won the title in Brazil, but ever since he got so dominant and so "look at me, I'm super awesome", seeming to place more importance on his 'image' than his qualities, I've long said goodbye to that
  3. I also hope this is not a pre-shock, because if it is, California is fucked.
  4. It's funny until your town is not on those maps anymore...
  5. Which makes those wins much cooler than one of 10+ wins in a season, Mercedes-style I know the driver doesn't look at what's most enjoyable, but just at what's the best in terms of winning the title (and for now in my opinion that definitely is 'stability', as in, staying with this team for a while longer), but I always find it hard to imagine how people who were fans of Schumacher or are fans of Hamilton (or Vettel some years ago) still enjoy every win when winning is simply the normal situation instead of something special.
  6. As dominant as Mercedes is now, I really hope he won't go there. I enjoy a great win like this one, but dominant wins are far more boring in my opinion (like Mexico in his case, I believe) If he goes to Mercedes, literally every race where he doesn't win feels like "meh" from his point of view, that's just no fun. And if he goes to Ferrari, all those Ferrari/Schumacher-fanboys will get a massive orgasm I just really don't want to see He's fine where he is now
  7. The friendliest biathlon blog in the world had an interview with the friendliest biathlete in the world https://biathlon23.wordpress.com/2019/07/04/bruna-de-moura-the-interview/
  8. Terrible referee? I enjoyed how she managed to keep control by talking instead of throwing around cards.
  9. Which is your favourite country?
  10. That was a seriously bad match, but fine, don't care
  11. I'm not sure I'd even call it a shot
  12. Those layers of hail are among the most bizarre weather things I've ever seen, what the actual fuck.
  13. Kata is arguably the most boring thing I've ever seen in sports, but yeah, it is indeed somewhat unique
  14. Too bad for the athletes, but I still find it an excellent decision.
  15. Now it's just waiting for Ayana to once again appear out of nowhere and destroy everything
  16. Sifan Hassan ran the fastest ever 3000m outside of the 1993 turtle blood Chinese Games
  17. Right, finally time for the Games to begin? I've been waiting patiently for a while for the broadcasts to start, let's go
  18. It's completely insane it had to literally take hours (sparking all kinds of discussions like "stewards are waiting for the fans to go home before announcing Verstappen didn't win, because they're afraid"), but finally FIA has announced there is no further action warranted and the winner keeps his win, much to the delight of among others quite some drivers and ex-drivers. Racing wins.
  19. There's one at work and I've bee trying forever without getting any closer
  20. It would be so much FIA to penalize an actual pass for the win
  21. Swiss women's international Ismaili is missing https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florijana_Ismaili Apparently she rented a boat with a friend, jumped out for a swim on the Italian Lake Como and wasn't seen anymore...
