  1. @dcro Kensington is competing a few hundred meters away from my home this weekend I see (jumping) https://www.startlijsten.nl/lijsten/169359-dressuur-en-springen-tevens-3e-selectie-kring-nvf Now I finally know why I've been seeing some jumping obstacles and what appeared to be two 'fields' for dressage in the past week or so whenever running by (it's after exactly 1km in my run usually)
  2. [hide] Knockout Round July 5th - July 19th, 2019 16 Nations, Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Third Place Match and Final Semifinals Date & Time (GMT +2) Nation 1 T1 T2 Nation 2 July 14th 2019, h. 19:00 Senegal 0 2 Tunisia July 14th 2019, h. 21:00 Algeria 2 0 Nigeria [/hide]
  3. For 120 million €
  4. Same here I see. Well that sucks total monkey balls.
  5. Possible this time, but still he usually depends on a train more than any other sprinter Without Morkov and Richeze he'd probably have 50% less wins
  6. Bad injury for Italian Lorenzo Gobbo in the scratch. He crashed and was pierced by a large piece of wood. He didn't lose consciousness and has had surgery, where it was discovered the wood pierced his lungs and his thigh. He'll have to stay in the hospital for a few days, but isn't in any sort of danger and as soon as that was known, the championships were continued.
  7. That's news? I thought this was already widely known for years And then fought against in court, and against that, and that, and that. One of those cases where I'm sure nobody ever believed in the past 5 years or so anything would actually come out of it.
  8. If Viviani's train doesn't deliver him perfectly, he loses most of his chances to win Plus it seems everyone except for Groenewegen and Ewan completely mistimed the sprint and seemed to have forgotten it was slightly uphill.
  9. I really hope Eurosport is broadcasting here (on the Player at least), so I can rewatch at better times, otherwise it's gonna be one of those world champs that goes by without ever really remembering it
  10. Yeah apparently they are 'fans' of Ajax Idiots like those fighting in the streets there are the cancer of the football world, when media calls them fans it's even worse (you know, because which actual fan is going to do something of which they know it will get 'their' team in trouble? )
  11. I disagree! (Actually I agree completely )
  12. Yes, and I am saying, or trying to say, that he has never shown to be in trouble there, simply finishing with the main group. No big deal.
  13. There's a difference between an outside medal contender and a medal favourite. He might and probably would have been one if he had seriously focussed on it the past few years, but he didn't, so he wasn't one. And yes, we are speaking about hard TdF mountain stages. Where he has shown exactly what I said, again and again. He didn't win his green jerseys by being the fastest sprinter, he won them by being a very good sprinter who can outclimb pretty much every other sprinter without serious issues.
  14. Algeria qualified for the semis so..........Algerian 'fans' in France decide to destroy stuff..? Cars and shops being destroyed in Paris as 'celebration', 74 people arrested, 1 killed, 20 police officers injured, what the hell?! The fatality happened when an Algerian dude (21) for whatever reason thought he should celebrate by racing through the streets of Montpellier. Obviously he's no pro driver and the streets of Montpellier are no race track, so he lost control and hit a family walking on the sidewalk, killing the mother and severely injurying a 15 month old baby. The 17-year old sister of the baby was slightly injured, the idiot in the car has been arrested.. On social media apparently there are videos of 'fans' walking through the streets with chainsaws (what the hell?).. Can't they just post funny GIF's or something like our own Algerian?
  15. Come on, of all the sprinters (nowadays with maybe Matthews and Colbrelli as exceptions) Sagan has always shown to be by far the one getting over the mountains the easiest. I mean, that's pretty much how he won 17595 green jerseys
  16. Handlebars can brake and you fall flat on your face Or you just crash rather hard and roll around including on your face.
  17. TJ van Garderen* has had a pretty bad crash. *Garderen, by the way, is a small town 20km or so from where I live Quite some fun and quiet ways through the forests between here and there to cycle around
  18. Wait, 52 European championships medals in team sports for the Netherlands since 1999? ....how?!
  19. That looks like an excellent day to do a whole bunch of other things and tune in with 10km to go
  20. Jesus, a miracle nobody broke a knee or something in that duel between Mahrez and the goalie
  21. Dude forgot which part of his body 'hurt' so he just grabbed four parts in random order until something looked half convincing
